There comes a moment in each of our lives when we feel that our inner space has been invaded. The noise of the world, the suffocating expectations of others, and our own fears seem to dictate our direction. We wake up walking paths that don’t belong to us, wearing masks that are too tight, and living lives that seem written by others.
Why does this happen? The answer is sharp and simple: You cannot defend a frontier that you haven’t yet drawn on your own mental map.
🧭 Identifying the Territory: The First Act of Mastery
Mastery does not come from the power to control others, but from a profound knowledge of one’s own territory. Identifying this inner space—with all its “Shadows” and unknowns—is the first and most important step toward real freedom.
Without a clear map of your values, you are just a traveler lost by the will of others. Only when you draw the line and say “This is where I stand,” does the true transformation begin.
🛡️ “Shields of Liberty”: Beyond the Walls
My book, “Shields of Liberty”, was born from the need to offer an answer to this external invasion. Many believe a shield is a wall behind which you hide in fear. I see things differently: the shields of liberty are your values, the resilience to rise after every fall, and, above all, the courage of authentic communication.
These shields do not isolate you from the world; they allow you to interact with it without losing yourself. They protect the most precious thing we carry: the Soul. That inner “home” where we no longer have to prove anything to anyone, where we are, simply, ourselves.
✨ Why do I write?
I share these thoughts not out of a desire to change the minds of those who see the world differently, but for a much more human reason, inspired by George Carlin’s words:
“I share my thoughts so that those who think like me know they are not alone.”
If you also feel it is time to reclaim your territory, to learn the art of drawing frontiers with gentleness but firmness, then welcome to „How I dream”. Here, we don’t look for perfection, but for balance. We don’t raise barriers; we learn to carry the shields that make us truly free.
